Thursday Walk

It was great weather out today... still is I guess...

I went for a fantastic walk this morning! We walked three miles, and then we walked to the grocery store and picked up a few things (including a delicious iced mocha!), and then we walked home for lunch and nap time.

Here's some shots I took along the way:

Sweetest Face I Ever Did See

Tired

Wild Strawberry... I think?

Blooming On A Puddle

Blue

Bud

Green

Peek-A-Boo

And my littlest one is finally showing signs of being just like her silly momma...

Do you live next to a coast?
Reminds me of when my son was 2 and I wasn't working and I'd load him up in his stroller and we'd walk to town and go swimming in the river and ogle at all the college boys!

No, Lolly... Sadly, I'm landlocked!

There's something wonderful about being an a coast though... it's relaxing and refreshing and rejeuvenating...

Your kids are so cute. And you must live in a great area to have seen all those things on your walk.

Thank you Jen...

You know, I don't really live in all that exciting of a place. It's more about searching for shots with a creative and open mindset instead of relying upon the shots popping out on their own.

Naturally, the baby had to come with me - couldn't leave her at home alone... so being forced to hang out with such adorable cuteness I HAD to photograph some of that! :)

The yellowy-orange flowers in the water was a rainpuddle in someone's flowerbed that had that plant growing in it. Rather junky looking if you were to zoom out of that photo I took...

The wild strawberry (I think that's what it is.) wasn't bigger than my ring finger nail nearly lost in a mess of half dead grassy rubbish...

The green leaves picture was hanging over the sidewalk I was walking on that bordered a 5 lane street.... looks quiet in the picture doesn't it? In reality there was all kinds of noisy traffic zipping by...

The body of water... not too far of a walk away but it's just a small wild life sanctuary... bordered by a parking lot park where, sadly, there's more junk than beauty lying about and typically truckers go park there to eat their lunch.... and a messy dirt road follows along the other side of it where no one is permitted unless you are a paid customer for golf lessons...

And the rose bud... I stole this shot from a house's beautiful yard.

It's fun to try to find pretty shots though... a challenge.
