Eyeglasses by Kate Spade
I ordered some glasses today. They should be in in about 7 to 10 business days. Since I normally wear contacts, I thought I'd go with a bit more of a drastic 'glasses' look for when I wear my glasses.
Naturally, my mother will say these glasses I ordered are 'birth control' glasses - So ugly I'll get no action while wearing them.
I think they are cute. I wanted something different than what the normal ol' me would wear.
Ever get tired of the regular ol' you? It's time to break the mold a little.

Dude, sometimes I am sooo very tired of the same ol' me. And I think the glasses are cute, too! Very trendy..you need a very smart Kate Spade bag to go with them and maybe some shoes...

How funny you bring up BCG's.. My dh still has his from bootcamp when he was in the Navy. Those dark brown thick rectangular things are a sight to behold. They are the most butt ugly things around..
I love the glasses, i wear something similar, nothing wrong with the librarian look.. I have worn cat glasses for years, and look where it has gotten me, 5 kids..
lol John! We had a brother flight next door & you're right. They didn't look 1/2 bad. BCGs or not. In fact, I remember making out with one of my "BRUDDERS"... lol. HOW FRIGGIN DANGEROUS! In BASIC TRAINING?!?! IIIIDIOT! Luckily we didn't get caught.

I think they'll look nice on you. Surely you'll model them for us on the blog. They're very modern so maybe that's why your mom doesn't like them, but I think they'll look good on you. When I get glasses, I'm getting frameless Oakley's.
