Compressed air from the roofers' air compressor being let out demonstrating half of my neighbor's roof being completed.
Worst:
The roofers starting to redo the other side of the house's roof.

Just make sure they can't see in your house! My neighbour had their roof done and one morning a pyjama clad me stumbled to the kitchen for my coffee when I looked outside the window whilst waiting for the kettle to boil, I was met by stares from the roof guys...I was not amused and not my post-shower perky self!
