Doodle Disaster

The munchkin got a neat doodling mat for Christmas this year. You fill the marker that it came with with water and then you can draw all over this specially treated mat and create magical art!

It's great because by the time she's bored with what she's drawn, the water has dried and the canvas is cleared for more doodling.

We learned a lesson yesterday though:

Water isn't the only liquid that will turn the white canvas to blue!

As my daughter was peacefully drawing (so I thought!) in the living room and I was cleaning up the kitchen, I begin hearing the repeated sounds of, "Ut oh, Mommy!...Ut oh, Mommy!..." Followed by myself being tugged into the living room.

And this is what she showed me:



The Princess piddled. What a work of art!
