Catered To

My daughter was tickled pink at lunch today.

I met up with a girlfriend at a local Italian restaurant - casual and quiet.

The waiter we had was completely smitten with my daughter and the flirt that she is, gobbled up every bit of attention he tossed her way.

He brought her fresh dough to play with while we figured out what we wanted to order.

He brought her fresh baked bread to nibble on.

He brought her water in a cute 'kiddie' cup.

He held her hand and tapped her nose and made her laugh - she was nausiatingly sweet toward him and he loved it.

Every time she dropped her juice cup or a toy, he was right there picking it up.

Then he brought her vanilla ice cream.

Our dear waiter simply could not get enough of my little one. It was cute really.

And with her hair in a ponytail and her little denim jacket on with her pink pants...she acted like she knew she was the cat's meow.

Now she's fast asleep probably dreaming that she's Queen of some magical land.

The new template is cool. It's a shame you two are hiding behind the text window, but it's cool. You're very creative and you can tell your mind is never done working. I keep wanting to move the text window so we can see you. It's not moving.

I used to wait tables and we always knew you had to cater to the kids. If the kids are happy, the parents can enjoy their dinner. Kids love the attention, but for some reason kids always found me to be very scary. Not sure why, but I never got kids to react that way.

Hmm, might be because you're using Firefox? I don't see any text boxes over the pictures using IE.

Yep, it's a Firefox issue which goes away temporarily when you click on the pics. On my pc that seems to work anyway.

And that's a very smart waiter. I'd definitely frequent that place, knowing that they're kid-friendly.

Love the picture at the top. Are they both you, or Mother Daughter shots?

I have been trying to get in and comment on your site for so long, I have now forgotten what exactly it was that I wanted to comment. Oh well, I do like the new look very much. I also liked the yellow floweredy look too. Have I created a monster? Will you be changing your look every time the wind blows? LOL

I say, whatever works for Insanity infusion is good enough for the rest of us. And if it isn't than that is just tough!

Wait just a half a second. I remember now. Yes the waiter seemed smitten, however, he was more than likely working mommy for a good tip.

It is no different than the waiteres I had at the Cheese Cake Factory. She kept touching me left arm and flashing her big brown eyes at me. I am alsomost certian that it was not because she found me such a hunka hunka burnin' love. What she didn't know was that she wouldn't have had to whore herself, I am a big tipper if the service was good, and it was excelent, so she got a big tip. If it had not, I would have left a bad tip, but I would also have talked to the manager about her service. If you don't then the only thing that happens is the waiteres gets pissed cause you short tipped her, and her service levels will not change. I learned that from one of the managers where I was a bus boy in highschool.

I.S., maybe she did think you were a hunka burnin' love, baby. :D
Don't you LOVE this age? My daughter is a total flirt, too but I have recently found that so is the BEE. She'll be bugging you for a handbag pretty soon. Hee hee!! Little girls are so sweet!

Must be a Firefox thing - pictures are working on IE. You've got a lot of hair! The pictures are cute - it's like "Insanity, then and now."
