I french braided the little one's hair this morning. It just barely stayed in place, but it's getting long enough to play with! I hate my hair messed with, but she doesn't seem to mind having hers played with too much.
She acted quite princess like with her hair done up. It makes me wonder what the years to come have in store for me.

That is too funny. i picked up my 4 year old from PRe-K yesterday and here hair was french braided.. Her teacher did it.. I am such a tomboy I wouldn't even know where to start..

Your daughter has awesome hair, and from the looks of your photo at the top, she definitely gets it from you. I hope she continues liking her hair to be done. My daughter was okay with it until about the age of 2. At least now she'll let me brush it BUT I have to use a specific brush and I have to be extra gentle and do her hair the way SHE wants it done. I just go with it because at least then she doesn't look like a refugee. :)
